United Way of the Plains and is preparing for retirement. But his impact goes far beyond fundraising. He coordinated statewide community service conferences for Labor, organized countless volunteer events with local unions, and even founded a food pantry to serve our most vulnerable neighbors. He also played a vital role as lead coordinator of our annual Flags of Freedom event, which honors military service members while connecting local veterans to critical wrap-around support."
